Earthquake Victims
Early on Monday morning, 6 February, two strong earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 hit Türkiye and northwestern Syria. It was the worst natural disaster in the region in the last 100 years: 60,000 people lost their lives, an estimated 23 million are affected, the humanitarian situation is catastrophic and will continue for a long time.
