The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA provides considerable support to Solidar Suisse’s development programmes.

the humanitarian agency of the Swiss Broadcasting Company (SRG SSR). The donations collected benefit victims of humanitarian emergencies by cofounding and assessing assistance projects run by Solidar Suisse and other qualified aid agencies. Solidar Suisse is one of Swiss Solidarity’s 25 partners.

Liechtenstein Development Service: The body responsible for implementing government development cooperation on behalf of the Government of Liechtenstein supports Solidar Suisse’s programme in Burkina Faso.

The federation of 49 development organisations in the canton of Vaud evaluates the sustainability and effectiveness of its members’ projects and recommends them to the canton and 50 affiliated communes for co-funding.

Like Fedevaco, this association of approximately 60 development organisations in Geneva canton evaluates projects and recommends them to Geneva communes. It also attaches importance to raising public awareness.

Membership of the European network SOLIDAR connects Solidar Suisse with over 50 aid agencies with similar backgrounds.

Solidar Suisse shares a background with the SAH network: while we are primarily active abroad, the ten independent, regional SAH associations support unemployed people and migrants in Switzerland.

The Swiss development agency cooperates with Solidar Suisse within the decent work alliance.

Alliance Sud is the Swiss Coalition of Development Organisations and works closely with Solidar Suisse.

We are also a member of the Swiss NGO DRR Platform, a network of Swiss aid agencies working on information sharing, increasing efficiency and ensuring quality in preparing for disasters in vulnerable regions and adaptation to climate change.

We are also a member of the Core Humanitarian Standards Alliance and we adhere to proven technical standards such as the Sphere Standards.
